Everyone in the house is feeling better. Jackson is even taking his medicine better. It is so cruel to force a medicine dropper full of pink antibiotic into a smiling, trusting, happy face of a 3 month old baby.
Abigail hates medicine and takes like 50 sips of 1 1/2 teaspoons of her liquid Tylenol and alternates her sips with litle drinks of water or juice. I guess 5 year olds just don't understand that it is better to get it over with.
I had some generic version of Robutussin with Codeine that tasted just horrible as part of my meds to ease my coughing/breathing. It tells me to take with a glass of water and believe me, I had no problem doing just that. I tried to show my daughter how to just take the medicine in one big drink but she wanted nothing to do with it.
Yesterday (Monday), I ran to the office to do my Monday morning tasks and then ran back home so Gretchen could go into work. We wanted to keep Abigail home one more day and Jackson still had a few sniffles.
I got to spend some quality daddy time with the kids!!
To make a long boring story short - we survivied. And that included taking about 10 calls from work (most in the form of pager going off when I was feeding Jackson or changing his diaper).
My wife has been uptight lately and I do not know why.
I have a few thoughts but will write about it later.
